Job summary

Pine Valley Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Spring Valley, NY is seeking a motivated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) per diem to join our rehab team. The PTA will provide treatment under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist and contribute to patient-focused geriatric care.

Responsibilities include delivering therapy per plan of care, documenting progress accurately, educating residents and caregivers, and communicating changes to the clinical team.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license.
• SNF experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility. Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license in the state of practice, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and possess the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience.
