HealthPro Heritage in Marietta, OH is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for PRN opportunities at Elison Assisted Living and Memory Care. The role involves supporting Physical Therapists with patient care and treatment implementation in a variety of settings.

Responsibilities include documenting progress, educating patients and families, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The position offers $35-$37/hr based on experience and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists and provide direct patient care.
• Monitor and document patient progress, report observations to the Physical Therapist, and educate patients and families on treatment protocols.
• Documentation: Accurately document patient treatments, progress, and responses in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Physical Therapists, other healthcare professionals, and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care and effective treatment outcomes.

Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
