Job summary

HealthPro Heritage in the Marietta area is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist to join our senior living and memory care teams. The role starts part-time (20-25 hours, three full days) with growth to full-time as opportunities arise, and involves travel between Elison Marietta, OH and Cedar Grove in Parkersburg, WV.

We offer a $2,500 sign-on bonus and a competitive hourly rate of $54-$56, plus benefits such as 401K, dental and vision.

Qualifications

• Must have a Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program.
• Active state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ mobility, strength, and flexibility.
• Provide therapeutic exercises and manual therapy; educate patients and families.
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers in a multidisciplinary team.

Need: Part-time (around 20-25), 3 full days with growth to FT, 20-25 min between buildings (Elison Marietta + Cedar Grove). PRN also available

Location: Elison of Marietta in Marietta, OH, split with Cedar Grove Assisted Living in Parkersburg, WV

Setting: Senior Living (Assisted Living & Memory Care)

Rate Range: $54-$56/hr (based on years of experince)

Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment: Evaluate patients' physical conditions, including mobility, strength, and flexibility.
• Treatment and Education: Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other treatments to enhance functionality and alleviate pain. Educate patients and families on exercises, posture, and body mechanics to aid recovery, prevent injuries, and offer guidance on home routines and lifestyle changes.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaboration: Work with healthcare providers to ensure effective patient care and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Licensure: Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist, or license eligible
• Skills: Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills. Proficient in developing and implementing effective treatment plans. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and assist patients as needed. Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to therapy.
