Job summary

Synchrony seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to work under a Physical Therapist in an interdisciplinary environment, delivering therapeutic interventions.

You will implement treatment plans, observe patient responses, document progress, and educate patients and families on exercises and safety. Collaborating with the care team, you’ll support comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.
• Experience: 0-1 years.
• Licenses and Certifications: PTA licensure or certification; CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, including exercises and modalities.
• Observe patient responses to therapy, document progress, and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of patients' responses to therapy and progress.
• Provide instructions to patients and families on exercises, safety precautions, and home progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Other duties as assigned.
