Job summary

Oaklin Lane is a neighborhood pediatric therapy clinic seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Lake Highlands clinic. You’ll deliver one-on-one sessions under supervision, helping kids move, balance, and learn new skills in a supportive team.

We value mentorship, ongoing education, and a pathway to grow as a clinician. This full-time role is based in Lake Highlands, with a four-day work week and no nights or weekends. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Texas PTA licensure.
• Experience with pediatric population or strong desire to specialize.
• Basic understanding of common childhood physical conditions and treatment strategies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one treatment sessions under the supervision of a licensed PT.
• Help kids with positioning, transfers, and mobility using gait belts, walkers, wheelchairs, or other aids.
• Support the PT in implementing individualized treatment plans targeting strength, balance, coordination, and motor skills.
• Document progress, activities, and observations in our EMR with accuracy and care.
• Keep therapy spaces and equipment clean and safe.
• Show up for team meetings to collaborate on patient care and goal-setting.
• Keep growing your craft through continuing education.
• Communicate clearly with kids, families, and your interdisciplinary teammates.

Oaklin Lane is hiring a PTA to join our neighborhood clinic in Lake Highlands — a clinician ready to grow their skills under a supervising PT who actually has time to mentor.

What you’ll do

You are:

Physically able to safely lift, transfer, and assist children during therapy

You bring:

Schedule: Full-time · Monday - Thursday · 8:00AM to 6:00PM (with a lunch break) · Four-day work week · No nights or weekends
