Job summary

AdviniaCare Summit Commons in Providence, RI is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team on a part-time (24 hours/week) and per diem basis. The PTA will assist in the provision, data collection, and direct treatment to a general rehab caseload under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

Requirements include an Associate's Degree in PTA, state licensure as required, CEU requirements, and prior clinical experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program
• CEU's per state licensure requirements
• Current licensure by the applicable state agency where required
• Prior clinical experience preferred but not required
• New graduates welcome!

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident treatments in accordance with an established plan of care, including individual, supervised, and group treatment sessions
• Contribute to the team meeting and decision-making process as defined by the program
• Consult with and train patients, residents, and caregivers
• Monitor efficiencies on an ongoing basis in collaboration with supervisor
• Document activities according to the company's clinical documentation system on a timely basis
• Demonstrate consistent knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations
• Participate in clinical program development and implementation
• Demonstrate ability for continuous new learning to remain current in the field
