Job summary

Medical Hill Healthcare Center is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing rehabilitation team. You will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver skilled therapy that helps residents achieve their highest level of function and independence.

Starting pay is $50/hour with options for Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN scheduling. We offer mentorship, benefits, and a supportive, resident-centered culture focused on care and professional

Qualifications

  • California PTA license is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Passion for helping residents regain function.

Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and functional performance.
  • Monitor resident responses to treatment and communicate progress to the supervising therapist.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments and resident progress.
  • Educate residents and families on exercises, mobility techniques, safety strategies, and home programs.
  • Collaborate with Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, nursing staff, and other care team members.
  • Participate in care conferences and contribute to discharge planning and resident goal setting.
  • Follow facility policies, regulatory requirements, and documentation standards.
  • Promote a safe, positive, and resident-centered rehabilitation environment.
