Canton Center For Nursing and Healing is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team on a per-diem basis in Canton, Georgia. You will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide patient care, assist with evaluations, and help implement individualized treatment plans.

Ideal candidates will hold an Associate's degree in PTA, certification, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced setting with strong communication skills and EMR proficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant or related field.
• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).
• Minimum of 0 years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Physical Therapist with patient evaluations, assessments, and treatments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the Physical Therapist.
• Conduct physical therapy treatments, including modalities, exercises, and other interventions.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient care discussions.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment area.
• Meet productivity and quality standards established by the Physical Therapist.

Summary of the Role:
