Canton Center For Nursing and Healing in Canton, Georgia is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support patient rehabilitation under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. You will help with evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, and deliver therapy sessions.

You will maintain accurate records, communicate with the healthcare team, and contribute to a positive, productive clinic environment while upholding quality standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant or related field.
• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current PTA certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Physical Therapist with patient evaluations, assessments and treatments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with the supervising PT.
• Conduct physical therapy treatments including modalities and exercises.

As a PTA at our center, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and contribute to their rehabilitation journey.

Summary of the Role:

As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality patient care. Your duties will include assisting with patient evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and conducting physical therapy treatments. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, communicating with healthcare team members, and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
