Canton Center For Nursing and Healing in Canton, Georgia is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join the team on a per-diem basis. You will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to assist with evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, and perform physical therapy procedures.

Strong PTA candidates with accredited program completion and current PTA certification are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant or related field.
• Completion of an accredited PTA program.
• Current certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and other software systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Physical Therapist with patient evaluations, assessments, and treatments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the Physical Therapist
• Conduct physical therapy treatments, including modalities, exercises, and other interventions
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient care discussions
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment area
• Meet productivity and quality standards established by the Physical Therapist

Summary of the Role:
