Qualifications for Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA):

• NYS Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License Required
• Strong Communication Skills
• Must be able to work weekends when needed

Responsibilities for Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA):

• Assist Physical Therapists (PT) in providing care to patients.
• Record residents' responses to treatment and report the outcome of each treatment to the physical therapist.
• Deliver personalized care to elderly residents
• Treat residents in accordance with the care plan after the Physical Therapist performs the initial evaluation to establish treatment goals, frequency, duration, and modalities.
• The employee will be expected to perform other reasonable duties as assigned.
