We are hiring a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).

Responsibilities

• Follow all state-specific laws governing physical therapy in home care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. Perform only procedures you are qualified for and trained in. Make recommendations for changes in the care plan to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Instruct and assist patients in evidence-based treatments within your scope and according to state laws.
• Observe, record, and report patient responses and changes to the treatment plan to the supervising PT, nurse, or physician. Coordinate care with the healthcare team as appropriate.
• Educate patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members about therapy within your scope.

Education and Experience

License Requirements

• Current license, registration, or certification to assist in physical therapy practice in Texas.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to reliable transportation.
