LTC Therapy Services is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for Meriden Health and Rehab in Meriden, CT. This full-time position provides therapy services to residents, helping them regain mobility and independence.

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut Physical Therapist Assistant license.
• Ability to follow established treatment plans and resident-specific precautions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized treatments outlined in the supervising Physical Therapist's plan of care.
• Guide residents through exercises that address strength, balance, and endurance.
• Practice walking, bed mobility, and transfers using appropriate assistance and prescribed equipment.
• Reinforce safe movement strategies with residents and caregivers to support progress outside therapy.
• Observe treatment responses and communicate changes in function, symptoms, or participation to the PT.
• Complete timely treatment documentation and work with nursing and fellow therapists to coordinate mobility recommendations.

LTC Therapy Services is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant at Meriden Health and Rehab. Join a skilled nursing rehabilitation team where your daily treatment sessions help residents build strength, improve mobility, and regain confidence following illness, injury, or hospitalization.

What You'll Do

• Deliver individualized treatments outlined in the supervising Physical Therapist's plan of care.

• Guide residents through exercises that address strength, balance, and endurance.

• Practice walking, bed mobility, and transfers using appropriate assistance and prescribed equipment.

• Reinforce safe movement strategies with residents and caregivers to support progress outside therapy.
