Job summary

Lynchburg Health & Rehabilitation Center in Lynchburg, Virginia, seeks a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) licensed in Virginia or soon-to-be licensed to join as a PRN staff member. The PTA will implement treatment plans under the Physical Therapist’s guidance and work closely with the care team to support residents’ physical, mental, and psychosocial wellbeing.

Applicants must be licensed in Virginia or graduating from an approved PTA program and pursuing licensure.

Qualifications

• Must hold Virginia PTA license or be actively pursuing licensure after graduation.
• Experience implementing PT treatment plans under a supervising PT.
• Collaborates with facility staff to promote residents’ wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Implement prescribed PT treatment plans under supervision of PT.
• Assist residents to improve mobility, function, and independence.
• Document progress and communicate with the PT and care team.

Lynchburg Health & Rehabilitation Center, a 180 healthcare center in Lynchburg, Virginia, is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) who is licensed in Virginia or is a graduate of an approved PTA program and is actively working toward licensure.

The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) is responsible for implementing treatment programs established by the Physical Therapist in accordance with all state, federal and JCAHO regulations. They collaborate with facility staff to promote the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial wellbeing for the residents.

Must be currently licensed in Virginia or is a graduate of an approved PTA program and is actively working toward licensure.
