Vasona Creek Healthcare in Los Gatos, CA is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our short-term rehabilitation team. Under the supervision of a licensed PT, you will implement treatment plans and help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence.

We offer a state-of-the-art rehab gym, competitive hourly pay ($45–$55 DOE), and full/part-time/PRN opportunities, plus benefits and ongoing mentorship to advance your clinical skills.

Qualifications

• Current and active California PTA license.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist.
• Provide skilled therapeutic interventions to improve strength, mobility, balance, endurance, and functional independence.
• Assist patients with gait training, therapeutic exercises, transfers, and functional activities.
• Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate progress to the supervising PT.
• Provide education and encouragement to patients and caregivers.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Promote patient safety, dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Your Role as a PTA
