Job summary

Lenoir Health & Rehabilitation Center in Lenoir, NC is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our LifeWorks Rehab Program. You will assist Physical Therapists in creating and implementing patient treatment plans and help patients regain function.

This role requires current PTA licensure, a degree from an accredited PTA program, and strong communication with patients and families.

Qualifications

• Minimum Years of Experience: years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Level of Education: degree in Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans tailored to each individual's needs
• Conduct physical therapy treatments including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities under supervision
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans accordingly
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals for seamless care coordination
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning to promote successful rehabilitation
• Maintain accurate patient records following established protocols
