Job summary

Synchrony is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist in an interdisciplinary setting in Findlay, Ohio. You will participate in an orientation tailored to your work environment and receive ongoing support from the Synchrony team.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, therapeutic exercises, and modalities; observing patient responses; documenting progress; and coordinating with the supervising PT and care team.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.
• Experience: 0-1 years.
• Licenses and Certifications: Must have and maintain a current PTA license/certification; CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy and modalities.
• Observe patient responses, document progress, and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of patient responses and progress.
• Provide instructions to patients and families on exercises and safety.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Observe and maintain up-to-date documentation related to patients’ responses to therapy, document their progress, and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.


• Provide instructions to patients and their families on exercise techniques, safety precautions, and strategies to support continued progress at home.


• Support Physical Therapists in evaluating patient needs and progress, providing additional observations and insights.


• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
