Job summary

Medical Hill Healthcare Center is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing rehabilitation team, starting at $50/hour. You will work under a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver skilled therapy aimed at helping residents regain mobility and independence.

Qualifications

  • Current and valid California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license required.

Responsibilities

  • As a PTA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide skilled therapy services that help residents reach their highest level of function and independence.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and functional performance.
  • Monitor resident responses to treatment and communicate progress and clinical observations to the supervising therapist.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments and resident progress.
  • Educate residents and families on therapeutic exercises, mobility techniques, safety strategies, and home programs.
  • Collaborate with Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, nursing staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
  • Participate in care conferences and contribute to discharge planning and resident goal setting.
  • Follow facility policies, regulatory requirements, and documentation standards.
  • Promote a safe, positive, and resident-centered rehabilitation environment.
