Job summary

HealthPro Heritage in Brentwood, NH is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a PRN opportunity at Rockingham County Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. The role offers a flexible schedule and a pay range of $32-$38/hour based on experience.

As a PTA, you will support therapists by providing direct patient care, implementing treatment plans, documenting progress, and educating patients and families.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists; provide direct patient care including exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications.
• Monitor and document patient progress; educate patients and families on treatment protocols and self-care.
• Accurately document treatments, progress, and responses in line with facility policies and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.

• Skills: Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
