Role Responsibilities

• Provide quality, compassionate care in a team setting
• Implement patient’s Care Plan under supervision of the Physical Therapist
• Assist patients with tasks to restore and enhance performance
• Communicate progress and issues to team members; assist with scheduling and billing
• Document patient care in accordance with regulations and standards
• Instruct family or nursing staff on follow-up programs
• Maintain equipment and work area safety and cleanliness
• Adhere to company policies, professional standards, and legal requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program with an associate degree
• Current state licensure as a PTA
• CPR certification (if required)
