Job summary

SOAL Home Health Services in Austin is seeking a skilled Certified Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our pediatric team. You will work under the supervision of a licensed OT/PT to provide therapy in children’s homes and daycares with a flexible schedule.

Pay is per visit ($38–$45) with an expected 3–4 units per visit. Minimum 20 hours per week, emphasis on clear documentation, family education, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Active Texas PTA license.
• Experience with pediatric development and home health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement PT treatment plans under supervising PT.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our growing pediatric team. As a COTA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide therapeutic services to children with a variety of developmental needs in their homes and daycares.

Pay: $38 - $45 per visit (Visits are paid per unit, and 3-4 units per visit are expected)

Responsibilities

• Implement physical therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising PT
• Provide direct therapy services using play-based and functional activities
• Document and track patient progress, including functional outcomes and responses
• Collaborate with SOAL’s multidisciplinary team to adapt treatment as needed
• Educate families on home programs and techniques to support independence
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and compliance with regulations

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program
• Active Texas PTA license
• Strong understanding of pediatric development and PT techniques
• Home health and pediatric experience preferred
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Reliable transportation and a valid Texas driver’s license
