Job summary

Progressive Rehab Solutions seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support a Physical Therapist in providing rehab services in long-term care or related settings.

You will implement treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence, and travel to patient locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• One year of experience in rehab or long-term care preferred.

Patient CareCarry out treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist for individual or group therapyAssist patients in improving mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and enduranceProvide gait training, transfer training, and therapeutic exercise programsAssist patients with the use of assistive devices such as walkers, canes, or wheelchairsEducate patients and caregivers on prescribed exercises and safety techniquesB.
