Job summary

Cassia's Pro Rehab team in Eagle, CO is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PRN) to support therapists in implementing treatment plans and monitoring patient progress. The role requires a CO PTA license and an Associate’s degree, with a focus on teamwork in a long‑term care environment.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong communication, medical terminology proficiency, and knowledge of anatomy and physiology to promote recovery. Starting pay is $46 per hour.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an Accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program and an Associate’s degree.
• Must hold a current CO PTA License.
• Knowledge of state, federal, and local long-term care regulations.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Physical Therapist Assistant Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients, ensuring adherence to prescribed therapies.
• Monitor patient progress and document changes in their condition.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises and care plans to promote recovery.
• Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to provide effective patient care.

Physical Therapist Assistant Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate from an Accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program and have at a minimum an Associate’s degree.
• Must possess a current COPhysical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License
• Must possess strong knowledge regarding state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care.
• Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required.
• Strong patient care skills and knowledge of physiology and anatomy
• Proficient in medical terminology and physical therapy techniques
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
