Pro Rehab is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join Park View Care Center in Wells, MN. The role supports physical therapy teams, helping implement treatment plans and monitor progress in a rural setting with a full caseload.

We offer competitive pay from $26 to $34 per hour depending on experience, benefits, tuition assistance or student loan forgiveness, PTO and retirement plans, and a $2,500 bonus paid over 18 months.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an Accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program with at least an Associate’s degree.
• Must hold a current CO PTA License.
• Strong knowledge of state, federal, and local long-term care regulations.
• Must communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong patient care skills and understanding of physiology and anatomy.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans and ensure adherence to therapies.
• Monitor patient progress and document changes in condition.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and care plans to promote recovery.

Physical Therapist Assistant Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients, ensuring adherence to prescribed therapies.
• Monitor patient progress and document changes in their condition.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises and care plans to promote recovery.
• Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to provide effective patient care.

Physical Therapist Assistant Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate from an Accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program and have at a minimum an Associate’s degree.
• Must possess a current COPhysical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License
• Must possess strong knowledge regarding state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care.
• Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required.
• Strong patient care skills and knowledge of physiology and anatomy
• Proficient in medical terminology and physical therapy techniques
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
