The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will provide direct patient care services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. Responsibilities include documenting patient treatments, assessing changes in condition, and applying therapeutic techniques tailored to each patient's age and condition.

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Qualifications

• Administer treatment programs as established by Physical Therapists
• Provide high-quality treatment to achieve excellent patient outcomes
• Assess patient conditions using knowledge of biological and medical sciences
• Propose treatment goals and objectives
• Implement treatment plans under guidance from the Physical Therapist
• Perform patient evaluations and interventions
• Instruct patients on therapy interventions, modalities, and home exercises
• Associate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Valid PTA license in the state of practice
• Current CPR and first aid certification
