Job summary

Mariner Healthcare in California seeks a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support a patient’s treatment plan under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. The PTA will provide direct treatment to residents according to the plan of care and will document progress toward established goals.

Responsibilities include teaching exercises to residents and family members, and assisting with orthotic or prosthetic devices, as well as completing forms in line with company policies

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an APTA accredited program.
• Licensed as Physical Therapist Assistant.

SUMMARY

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) works under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to assist with a patient’s treatment program in accordance with federal guidelines and state practice acts.
