Job summary

AlphaCare Home Health Corp is seeking compassionate Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) to provide skilled therapy services in patients' homes under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. This role offers autonomy, flexibility, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while helping patients regain mobility and independence.

Eligible candidates hold a California PTA license and have graduated from an accredited PTA program; new graduates are welcome.

Qualifications

• Active California PTA license.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Ability to work independently in a home health setting.
• New graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments according to the established plan of care
• Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment
• Communicate changes in patient condition to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility, safety, and home programs
• Complete clinical documentation accurately and timely
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support patient outcomes

Job description

Location: Opportunities available throughout San Francisco, Peninsula, East Bay, South Bay. Flexible territory assignments available, with patient visits coordinated around your preferred coverage area and proximity to home whenever possible.

Pay: $50–$60 per hour DOE
