A national leader in treatment of heart attack, congestive heart failure, pneumonia, and surgical care, ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital is also a pacesetter in Michigan for obstetrics, emergency care, intensive care, infection control, and organ donation.
The Physical Therapist Assistant administers various physical therapy programs under the guidelines established by a Licensed Physical Therapist to facilitate rehabilitation of physically disabled patients, maximize function and independence. The role involves directing patient participation in tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance, and facilitating learning.
