Job summary

Confluent Health is seeking a full-time outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant in Santa Monica, CA. You will provide 1-on-1 care with a daily caseload of 7–10 patients, guided by experienced therapists, and participate in a mentorship program through Evidence in Motion (EIM).

We offer a $2,000 sign-on bonus, 401(k) with a 4% employer match, generous PTO, and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent from an accredited PTA program is required.
• Unrestricted PTA licensure to practice required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluation of client’s daily living skills and capacities.
• Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
• Observe patients during treatments and report observations to Physical Therapist.
• Communicate with staff to exchange, discuss, and evaluate patient information for planning.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluation of client’s daily living skills and capacities to determine extent of abilities and limitations
• Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques including exercise Instruction, manual therapy techniques, activities of daily living, and Isokinetic program
• Observe patients during treatments and reports observations to Physical Therapist
• Communicate with staff and other health team members, to exchange, discuss, and evaluate patient information for planning, modifying, and coordinating treatment programs

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program required
• Unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant Licensure to practice required.

About

Compensation: $35 - $43/hour + a $2000 sign on/retention bonus. Benefits include generous paid time off, medical, dental, vision, disability, free continued education, and 401(K) with a 4% employer match.
