Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking qualified physical therapy assistant candidates to join our team. Working under the guidance of a physical therapist, you will assist treating patients by following an individualized plan of care developed by Physical Therapists.

As part of our growing team, you will help implement treatment programs, document patient progress, and communicate with the PT and rehab staff. The role emphasizes quality care and safe operation of standard PT equipment.

Qualifications

• Assist patients according to a plan of care under the guidance of a Physical Therapist.
• Support the Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans and patient care.
• Maintain accurate charts and document patient progress and responses.

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With assistance of physical therapist, develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Physical Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.
