Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking a qualified Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. Working under the guidance of a Physical Therapist, you will assist treating patients by following an individualized plan of care developed by Physical Therapists.

You will help ensure quality treatment, develop and implement treatment programs, and assist patients through all phases of therapy while recording responses and communicating with the care team to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited PTA program.
• Ability to assist with all phases of physical therapy treatment.
• Good communication with patients and staff throughout care.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality treatment and achieve functional outcomes.
• Help develop and implement PT treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of PT treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatments with patients and document responses after each visit.
• Maintain continuous communication with Physical Therapist, Director or Rehab and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard PT equipment.
