Base pay range: $58,400.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr

Role Overview

Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first. As a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant, you will:

• Administer the physical therapy treatment plan as developed by the Physical Therapist.
• Administer non-complex active and passive manual therapeutic exercises, therapeutic massage, traction heat, light, cold, water, and electrical modalities to patients.
• Accurately document daily, weekly, or monthly records of clients and submit clinical paperwork to the office on time each week.
• Attend educational meetings and contribute to department in-services.
• Notify the physical therapist or Executive Director of equipment failures, supply shortages, staff or client changes, and other departmental issues.
• Schedule clients and perform varied office tasks.
• Apply infection control concepts and universal precautions during patient care activities.
• Accept clinical assignments that match your education and competence.
• Promote compliance with all third-party payors through education, coaching, and assistance.

Required Skills and Experience

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state license to practice Physical Therapy.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Proof of current CPR certification.
• Minimum of two years experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Knowledge of geriatric physical, emotional, social, and biological changes.
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and receptive to feedback.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and organizational abilities.
• Professional attitude towards patients, families, and colleagues.
• Compliance with continuing education and licensure requirements.
• Flexibility to work a variable schedule and travel locally.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Pay Details

Pay may vary based on location and individual skills. The estimated pay includes:

• $37.00 - $52.00 per visit/unit
• $58,400 - $80,000 per year as base pay
