Pay Range

This range is provided by CenterWell Home Health. Your actual pay will depend on your skills and experience. Discuss with your recruiter for more details.

Base pay range: $58,400.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr

Role Overview

As a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant, you will:

  • Implement the physical therapy treatment plan developed by the Physical Therapist.
  • Administer non-complex manual therapeutic exercises, massage, traction, heat, cold, water, and electrical modalities.
  • Accurately document client records and submit paperwork timely.
  • Participate in educational meetings and department in-services.
  • Report equipment issues, supply shortages, and staff or client changes.
  • Schedule clients and perform office tasks as needed.
  • Follow infection control protocols and universal precautions.
  • Accept clinical assignments appropriate to your education and competence.
  • Promote compliance with third-party payors through education and coaching.
Required Skills and Experience

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA-accredited program.
  • Current state license to practice Physical Therapy.
  • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
  • Proof of current CPR certification.
  • Minimum two years experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • Knowledge of geriatric physical, emotional, social, and biological changes.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, receptive to feedback.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional attitude towards patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Maintain licensure and continuing education requirements.
  • Flexible schedule and ability to travel locally.
  • Maintain confidentiality and clinical competency.
  • Fluent in English, with good attendance.
Additional Pay and Benefits

Pay: $37.00 - $52.00 per visit/unit; $58,400 - $80,000 annually.
