Job summary

Synchrony Rehab Home Office in Kentucky is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support treatment plans under the direction of a Physical Therapist. You will implement therapeutic interventions and educate patients and families on exercises and safety.

Responsibilities include observing patient progress, documenting responses, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care. Licenses and CPR are required, with a degree in PTA from an accredited program.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program
• Experience: 0-1 years
• Licenses/Certifications: Current PTA licensure and CPR certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, including exercises, manual therapy and modalities.
• Observe patient responses, document progress, and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of patient responses and progress for supervisor review.
• Provide instructions to patients and families on exercises, safety precautions and home progress strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
