Job summary

Synchrony Rehab in Louisville, KY is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support therapy under the direction of a Physical Therapist. You will execute treatment plans and assist in delivering rehabilitative care at several site locations.

Responsibilities include monitoring patient responses, documenting progress, educating patients and families on exercises and safety, and collaborating with an interdisciplinar y team to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.
• Experience: 0-1 years.
• Must have and maintain a current, valid state PTA licensure or certification.
• Current CPR certification, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities.
• Observe patient responses to therapy, document progress, and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of patients’ responses to therapy and progress, reporting to the supervising PT.
• Provide instructions to patients and families on exercises and safety precautions.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Other duties as assigned.
