Job summary

The Orchards at Wayne in Wayne, Michigan is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support licensed therapists in designing and implementing patient-centered treatment plans across rehab and long-term care.

You will assist with evaluations, treatments, and progress notes, educate patients, maintain records, and collaborate with the care team to promote safe discharge and independence.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Physical Therapy Assistant (ASc/PTA or equivalent).
• CAPTE-approved PTA program completion is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists with patient evaluations, treatments, and exercises.
• Develop and implement treatment plans under the guidance of physical therapists.
• Provide patient education and training to promote independence and safe discharge.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
