Job summary

Synchrony Rehab is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist in a collaborative setting. You will implement treatment plans, support patient progress, and educate patients and families on exercises and safety. The role emphasizes teamwork across disciplines and comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications include an accredited PTA degree and current licensure. CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities such as heat or electrical stimulation.
• Observe patient responses, document progress, and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provide instructions to patients and families on exercise techniques, safety precautions, and home progress strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Support therapists in evaluating patient needs and progress with additional observations.
