Responsibilities

Position Summary

Under the direct supervision of a licensed PT, assists with the implementation of the therapy plan of care. Responsible for delegation and direction of supportive personnel for those assigned patients, to enhance patient care services. Communicates regularly with the supervising PT regarding scheduled patients to identify needs for assessment, reassessment, and modification of treatment plans. Participates in education of patients, families, students, coworkers, and self. Performs other professional duties related to patient care within the scope of practice.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant required.
• Certified BLS or completion within the first 90 days of employment required.
• Home Care Requirements: One or more years of clinical experience and a valid state Driver’s License.
