Job summary

Pro Rehab in Minnesota is seeking a Float Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to travel across MN sites in the Central Metro region. This full-time role offers a competitive wage and mileage reimbursement.

New grads welcome to apply. Must have MN PTA license and an associate degree; perform duties with English proficiency and teamwork, supporting therapists and patients.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an Accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program with at least an Associate’s degree.
• Must possess a current MN PTA License.
• Strong knowledge of state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care.
• Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans and therapies.
• Monitor patient progress and document changes in their condition.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and care plans to promote recovery.

We are looking for a Float Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to travel to our MN sites in the Central Metro region! We offer a competitive wage, benefits & mileage reimbursement ($.70 / mile). New grads are welcome to apply!

Position Type: Full-Time

Wage Range: $26 - $32 / hour depending on experience

Physical Therapist Assistant Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients, ensuring adherence to prescribed therapies.
• Monitor patient progress and document changes in their condition.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises and care plans to promote recovery.
• Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to provide effective patient care.

Physical Therapist Assistant Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate from an Accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program and have at a minimum an Associate’s degree.
• Must possess a current MN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License
• Must possess strong knowledge regarding state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care.
• Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required.
• Strong patient care skills and knowledge of physiology and anatomy
• Proficient in medical terminology and physical therapy techniques
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
