Job summary

Physical Rehabilitation Network (PRN) is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant to work closely with licensed physical therapists and help deliver high-quality rehabilitation care. The PTA will implement treatment plans, guide patients through exercises, document progress, and ensure adherence to therapy protocols in a collaborative clinic setting.

The role includes a base hourly rate of $28–$32 with a sign-on bonus eligible, plus a monthly incentive up to $2,500 and student loan reimbursement

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• State licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
• Proficient in assisting with therapeutic exercises and treatment modalities
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Detail-oriented with good documentation and reporting skills
• Prior experience working as a PTA in a clinical setting
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by the Physical Therapist (PT)
• Communicate with PTs on patient progress
• Guide and instruct patients in therapeutic exercises and activities
• Monitor and record patient progress and responses to treatments
• Ensure caseload attendance compliance
• Aid in administering therapeutic interventions such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation
• Set up and maintain equipment for therapy sessions
• Provide support during patient evaluations and assessments
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment progress notes
• Educate patients and families about exercises and home care routines
• Collaborate with PTs and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
