Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current license to practice in Idaho; Current BLS certification.
• Effective communication with a diverse range of individuals.
• One year of experience, driver's license, dependable transportation, and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Conducts therapy practices within established standards of care and hospital policies.
• Follows individualized treatment plans and collaborates with physical therapists to optimize patient care.
• Provides direct patient care, evaluates functional needs, and consults with specialists as necessary.
• Manages documentation of patient progress and regularly updates treatment plans.
• Manages schedules to meet departmental productivity goals and collaborates with colleagues for inpatient coverage.
• Communicates effectively with healthcare professionals and directs support staff to achieve patient goals.
• Performs additional duties as designated by the Department Director or Lead Physical Therapist.
