Job summary

Physical Rehabilitation Network (PRN) is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our clinical team. You will work closely with physical therapists to implement treatment plans, guide patients through therapeutic exercises, and support high-quality patient care in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited PTA program is required.
• State licensure or certification as a PTA is required.
• Excellent communication with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to assist with therapeutic exercises and treatments.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by the Physical Therapist.
• Communicate with PTs on patient progress.
• Guide and instruct patients in therapeutic exercises and activities.
• Monitor and record patient progress and responses to treatments.
• Ensure and monitor caseload to maintain attendance compliance.
• Aide in administering interventions such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation.
• Set up and maintain equipment for therapy sessions.
• Provide support during evaluations and assessments.
• Educate patients and families about exercises and home care routines.
• Collaborate with PTs and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
