Job summary

Award Care Health Group is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our family-friendly team in Florida. Earn $30–$37 per hour, full‑time or part‑time, with opportunities for growth in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of School of Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Minimum of three months recent experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant in a nursing home environment preferred.
• State of Florida Physical Therapy Assistant License and CPR Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluation and direction of the physical therapy service and related programs.
• Assist in interpreting physical therapy policies and procedures to staff, residents and family members as necessary.
• Participate in discharge planning and development of resident care plans and assessments.
• Initiate individual restorative programs for residents in conjunction with the plan of care.
• Explain procedures to residents and prepare necessary equipment for therapy sessions.
• Ensure residents are comfortable during therapy and monitor responses to treatment.
