Advance Rehabilitation in Florida is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant with a strong interest in orthopedics to join a supportive team.

You will assist in evaluating patients, help develop goals, and deliver direct patient care under a PT's supervision while coordinating with physicians and insurers as needed.

Qualifications

Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
Current state of Georgia PTA license and CPR certification.
Experience with exercise, sports rehab, and manual-based skills.
Outgoing and energetic personality; new graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

Assist in assessing patients to develop and initiate treatment plans.
Provide direct patient care under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
Document findings, progress and instructions to patients and caregivers.
Ensure care meets standards and supports plans of care and goals.
Contribute to comprehensive programs to attain defined goals.
Implement physical therapy treatment programs and essential therapies.
Communicate with patients, caregivers, physicians and insurers under supervision.

What You'll Do:

Assist in assessing patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on the evaluation results
Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, following established protocols and patient care guidelines
Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers
Support in ensuring patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians meets standards
Assist in completing written plans of care, developing goals based on evaluation findings, and contributing to comprehensive programs to attain goals
Support in implementing physical therapy treatment programs and providing essential physical therapy treatments
Communicate effectively with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies, under the guidance of a Physical Therapist
