Advance Rehabilitation Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our GA outpatient team. This role emphasizes orthopedics, ongoing professional growth, and collaboration with licensed therapists and ancillary staff.

The ideal candidate will be licensed in Georgia, CPR certified, and ready to contribute to high-quality patient care while engaging in mentorship and continuing education opportunities within our program.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program.
• Current Georgia PTA license and CPR certification.
• Experience in orthopedics and commitment to ongoing learning.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on evaluation results.
• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, following established protocols.
• Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers.
• Ensure patient care by assistants and rehab techs meets standards.
• Assist in completing written plans of care and developing goals from evaluations.
• Support in implementing PT treatment programs and providing essential PT services.
• Communicate with patients, caregivers, physicians, and insurers under the guidance of a PT.

What You'll Do

• Assist in assessing patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on the evaluation results
• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, following established protocols and patient care guidelines
• Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers
• Support in ensuring patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians meets standards
• Assist in completing written plans of care, developing goals based on evaluation findings, and contributing to comprehensive programs to attain goals
• Support in implementing physical therapy treatment programs and providing essential physical therapy treatments
• Communicate effectively with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies, under the guidance of a Physical Therapist

Qualifications

• Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
• Current state of Georgia PTA license, CPR certification
• Exercise, sports rehab, and manual-based skills
