Job summary

Bodycentral Physical Therapy, part of Therapy Partners Group, seeks an Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant to join a dedicated team in Tucson. You will support PTs with patient-focused interventions, documentation, and treatment planning.

The ideal candidate has an PTA degree, is licensed or eligible, and enjoys a collaborative environment with opportunities for professional growth and CEU support.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited program in Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a PTA.
• Outpatient experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work well in a collaborative team setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as directed by the PT.
• Assist PTs in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic techniques including manual therapy and exercise prescriptions.
• Monitor and document patient progress and report changes to the PT.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and care plans.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, effective care.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient FollowUp: Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the physical therapist.
• Treatment Planning:Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Implement various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.
• Documentation: Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions, reporting changes to the physical therapist.
• Patient Education:Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management techniques, and care plans
• Professional Atmosphere: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree as Physical Therapy Assistant from accredited institution.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Previous outpatient experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
