Job summary

River Pointe of Trinity Healthcare is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to join our in-house therapy team serving residents across inpatient and outpatient settings in the Greater Huntsville, TX area. New grads are welcome; PTA license is required.

You will apply evidence-based practices under a supervising PT, perform rehabilitation procedures, and collaborate with the care team to support residents with diverse needs.

Qualifications

• Physical Therapist Assistant license is required.
• New Grads are welcome.
• Experience with inpatient and outpatient rehab is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Apply evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions.
• Provide rehabilitative treatment to patients under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures, including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, and device use.
• Collaborate with the supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatments per regulatory and clinical requirements.
• Offer consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers.

We are a post-acute care facility offering the amazing opportunity to practice with patients across the lifespan (pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics) in a setting consisting of inpatient (short-term and long-term care) and outpatient. Key Responsibilities:

• Administer various rehabilitation procedures, including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, and supportive device use, under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Collaborate with the supervising Physical Therapist to assess and adjust treatments according to regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Offer consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
