Job summary

TruCare Living Centers in Columbus, TX, is a post-acute care facility offering long- and short-term geriatric services. We seek a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant for our in-house rehab program to support patients in recovery and maintain high-quality care within the CAPLICO values.

As a PTA, you will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, provide rehabilitative treatment, participate in evidence-based interventions, and counsel patients and families. New grads are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• PTA license is required.

TruCare Living Centers in Columbus, TX, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant for our in-house rehab program!

Duties:

• Apply evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions.
• Provide rehabilitative treatment to patients with physical functioning disorders under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Administer various rehabilitation procedures, including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, and supportive device use, under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Collaborate with the supervising Physical Therapist to assess and adjust treatments according to regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Offer consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.

Qualifications:

• Physical Therapist Assistant license is required
