Job summary

Advance Rehabilitation Physical Therapy in Georgia seeks a passionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our orthopedic-focused team. You will work under a Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans, document progress, and assist in delivering high-quality outpatient care.

Ideal candidates are graduates of CAPTE-accredited PTA programs with GA licensure and CPR certification. New grads are welcome, with opportunities for mentorship and ongoing education.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
  • Current state of Georgia PTA license and CPR certification.
  • Exercise, sports rehab, and manual-based skills.
  • Outgoing and energetic personality.
  • New graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in assessing patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on evaluation results.
  • Provide direct patient care under supervision of a Physical Therapist following established protocols.
  • Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers.
  • Ensure patient care performed by assistants and rehab technicians meets standards.
  • Assist in completing written plans of care, developing goals, and contributing to comprehensive programs.
  • Support in implementing physical therapy treatment programs and providing essential treatments.
  • Communicate with patients, caregivers, physicians, and insurers under the guidance of a Physical Therapist.

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for orthopedics and a thirst for continued knowledge and growth.

What You’ll Do
  • Assist in assessing patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on the evaluation results
  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, following established protocols and patient care guidelines

  • Support in ensuring patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians meets standards

  • Communicate effectively with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies, under the guidance of a Physical Therapist
