Role Description The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will support licensed Physical Therapists in delivering high-quality patient care, primarily focused on rehabilitation and balance therapy in an outpatient setting. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, guiding patients through therapeutic exercises, monitoring progress, and documenting clinical outcomes in accordance with practice protocols. The PTA will help educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, safety, and wellness strategies, while collaborating with the clinical team to adjust care plans as needed. Routine duties also involve maintaining a clean and safe treatment environment, assisting with equipment setup, and contributing to a positive, patient-centered experience. This is a full-time, on-site role located in San Antonio, TX.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, with the ability to carry out treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Strong focus on Patient Care and Quality Patient Care, including clear communication, empathy, and attention to patient safety and comfort.
• Experience or coursework in Orthopedics, with the ability to assist in treating musculoskeletal conditions and supporting functional recovery.
• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program and current, or eligibility for, state licensure or certification as a PTA in Texas.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, manage time effectively, and follow clinical protocols and documentation standards.
• Basic computer skills for electronic health records; prior outpatient or balance/vestibular experience is preferred but not required.
• Physical ability to assist patients with mobility, transfers, and therapeutic exercises throughout the workday.
